Dow-Key® Microwave Corporation presents its 511H-Series high power T-switch, which has been qualified and supplied to various domestic and international space programs, for both military and commercial use.
The 511H-Series switch has been qualified for the INSAT III program, which is a multipurpose satellite design providing telecommunication, television broadcasting, meteorological and search and rescue services.
With a heritage over 12 years, today’s 511H-Series design is offered with 1.5kW peak power at UHF-band, 300W peak power both at L-band and S-band, and 200W peak power at C-band. In addition to its superior RF performance and lightweight design, the 511H-Series minimizes the switching time by using random access drive and it is available in various mounting configurations.
The 511H-Series switch has low VSWR (1.25, slightly higher at C-band), high isolation (60 dB) and the low weight version weighs only 210 grams. The switches have an operating life of 100,000 meeting the requirements for space applications.
